Please note that The Springs Owners Association also abides by Florida Statutes Chapter 720 and any amendments that may occur time to time as ruled by the Florida Legislation. When noted in the statutes, a statute may supersede any covenants, restrictions, bylaws, rules or requirements of the association.
2024 Updates include:
HB949 relating to the operation of golf carts (approved 5/11/2023)
HB1203 relates to the governance of homeowners’ associations and the practice of the community association managers who manage those communities (effective 7/1/2024)
HB59 requires HOAs to provide a physical or digital copy of the governing documents to all members, including availability on the association website (effective 7/1/2024)
HB437 expands the types of flags a homeowner may display and allows homeowners to store and/or display items not visible from the parcel's frontage or an adjacent parcel (effective 7/1/2024)
HB919 called the "Homeowners’ Association Bill of Rights” and revises the requirements for the governance and regulation of homeowners’ associations (approved 6/12/2023)
