Boatyard Space Rental Policy

Boatyard Space Rental Policy

Boatyard usage rules are set by The Springs Board of Directors and may be modified as appropriate.

  1. Only members in good standing or authorized tenants may rent a space.
  2. The gate is to be locked after entering and when leaving.
  3. Boat spaces are $100 for the annual rental period of 1 July - 30 June. Invoices will be distributed to the current space holders approximately April 15, with payment due no later than May 31. If payment has not been received by May 31 and other arrangements have not been made with the Board, the watercraft may be towed and the owner responsible for the fees and charges.
  4. Spaces are rented on a first come, first served basis and limited to one spot per home. Should the demand exceed space availability, the Board will maintain a waiting list and offer an available space in that order.
  5. Only watercraft and personal watercraft trailers may be stored in this area and must not interfere with the maintenance of the area. No camping trailers or RVs. The Board reserves the right to consider the item to be stored prior to accepting the application.
  6. Renewals must submit an updated application annually. Members wishing to renew their assigned space will have first right of refusal. If you will not be renewing, please let the Board know immediately so the space is made available to those on the waitlist.
  7. The application form must include all identifying information for the watercraft and trailer as required by the State of Florida, including a description of what will be stored, the registration, hull identification number, trailer license plate and all expiration dates. This information must match the state-issued decals and numbers displayed on the craft and be current.
  8. Members are to accompany all non-residents and all minors when in the boatyard, using the launch and accessing the dock. Members are responsible for the behavior and safety of their family members, guests, and tenants when using this facility.
  9. No overnight docking. Do not leave watercraft at the dock any longer than is necessary for passenger pick up/drop off or for offloading/uploading.
  10. USE OF THE BOAT LAUNCH IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
  11. No overnight parking of any vehicles.

Vehicle Parking: Parking of tow rigs is limited to the three designated parking spaces (based on tow vehicle/trailer size).
